Sony has announced its latest compact flagship smartphone dubbed the Sony Xperia 5 V with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor. The device features a 52 megapixel primary sensor along with wireless charging solution and more. Here are the full specifications along with the pricing and availability details.

Specifications of Sony Xperia 5 V

Sony has launched the latest Sony Xperia 5 V smartphone with a 6.1-inch OLED display along with an FHD+ resolution and a 21:9 aspect ratio. It features a 120Hz refresh rate as well as HDR support as well.

It comes with the power of the latest and greatest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expandable using a microSD card. The device comes with a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 30W wired fast charging and 18W wireless fast charging solutions.

Sony has introduced the device with IP68 water and dust resistance and it also features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the front and back. It comes with LDAC and Hi-Res Audio support. The device also features full-stage stereo speakers and it is running on the Android 13 operating system out of the box.

Regarding the photography section, the latest Sony Xperia 5 V features a 48-megapixel sensor with a 1/1.35-inch optical format, a 24 mm equivalent focal length, OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), and autofocus support. The device features a 52-megapixel Exmore T Main sensor along with 2x optical zoom and the same is paired with a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens that has a 16mm focal length. Sony has introduced the device with a 12-megapixel front facing camera.
