The popular Chinese brand Redmi has officially launched the new budget friendly smartphone dubbed Redmi A5 along with a 120Hz refresh rate and more. Here are the full details of the device.
Specifications of Redmi A5
The Redmi A5 sports a 6.88-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, DC dimming, and the device also supports TÜV Rheinland certification for eye protection. The device comes with the power of the UNISOC T7250 mobile processor along with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage. You can be able to expand the storage of the device using a microSD card slot.
Speaking about the camera department, the latest Redmi A5 features a 32MP dual camera setup and an 8MP selfie camera. The newly announced device houses a large 5,200mAh battery along with 15W wired fast charging and the Redmi A5 runs on the Android 15 OS out of the box. The device also comes with a 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, a side mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2, dual SIM support (nano + nano), and GPS support.
Pricing and availability
The prices starts at Rs 6,499 for the 3GB + 64GB storage option, while the 4GB + 128GB variant costs Rs 7,499. The Redmi A5 will be available from April 16 in the country.
