The highly anticipated OnePlus 12 smartphone is now officially announced in the market of China and the device comes with impressive design along with heavy specifications on the board. The newly announced smartphone is the first ever phone of the company to feature wireless charging capability and it is running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. Specifications of OnePlus 12
The latest offering comes with a glass sandwich construction with a metal frame in the middle and the device is IP65-rated for splash resistance. It features a 6.82-inch curved OLED display supplied by BOE along with a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen and the device also comes with 3168 x 1440 pixels resolution (QHD+). The display of the smartphone supports 510 PPI and a 1-120Hz refresh rate (LTPO). The 10-bit screen supports up to 4500 nits of local peak brightness level and 2160Hz PWM dimming.
It comes with the power of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 24 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone also features a 9140mm² VC (Vapor Chamber) cooling system and the same is capable to cover an area of 38,547mm².
Talking about the photography section, the latest OnePlus 12 smartphone features a 50MP Sony LYT-808 primary sensor with OIS along with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with an OIS-assisted 3x periscope zoom lens, and the device also features a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultrawide sensor with autofocus. It also supports a 32MP shooter and the camera department comes with Hasselblad-inspired image processing.
It also features dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS, NFC, and USB 3.2 Gen1 for connectivity. The device also comes with an alert slider, an IR blaster, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and dual stereo speakers. It is supporting an in-display fingerprint scanner as well.
The OnePlus 12 smartphone runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 and the device houses a massive 5,400mAh battery along with 100W wired as well as 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless.
Pricing and availability
The pricing of the latest OnePlus 12 starts at ¥4,299 and it will be available in China from December 11.
