Other leaks suggest that Apple might change the names of its operating system this year, and starting this year, the Cupertino-giant is likely to follow the year-based naming scheme.
Following the year-based naming scheme, the new names of the operating system could be iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, tvOS 26, and visionOS 26.
Regarding the changes, new leaks suggest that the latest operating system will be coming, including a new floating tab view, updating icons, and UI effects.
What Are the New AI Capabilities We Can Expect This Year?
As Apple gears up for new launches this year, the Cupertino-giant will integrate its home-built AI capabilities, also called “Apple Intelligence.” Apple Intelligence made its way to the public in 2024, promising further improvement and integrating new features in the coming time.
Apple has also opened doors to its core Foundation models, making it accessible for developers to build some custom AI- features to integrate with Photos and Safari app.
