Oppo A78 4G Goes Official With 50MP Camera

The popular Chinese smartphone brand Oppo has unveiled its new smartphone in the market of Indonesia and the device is dubbed the Oppo A78 4G, the smartphone is coming with Snapdragon 680 at its heart. It features a dual camera set up on the back with a 50 megapixel primary sensor. Specifications of Oppo A78 4G

Oppo has launched the new Oppo A78 4G smartphone with a 6.43-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate for a smooth experience. It is also sporting a punch-hole cut out at the centre of the display.

Under the hood, the Oppo A78 4G smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset. The device packs 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage and that can be expandable using a microSD card. It is also coming with 8GB of virtual RAM on the board.

The device is backed by a massive 5000mAh battery and the device is supporting 67W SuperVOOC fast charging technology. Software wise, the smartphone is running on the Android 13 operating system with ColorOS 13.1 custom skin out of the box.

Coming to optics, the Oppo A78 4G features a 50MP primary camera sensor on the back along with a 2MP bokeh lens. The device is also supporting 108MP ultra-clear image mode, dual-view video mode, and Bokeh Flare portrait mode features as well. It features an 8MP front camera sensor as well. The newly announced Oppo A78 4G smartphone is supporting an in-display fingerprint scanner along with the traditional security options. The device is also supporting dual speakers as well as ultra-volume mode. Regarding the connectivity options, the device supports 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, and NFC.

Pricing and availability

The smartphone is priced at IDR 3,599,000 and the device is available via the official website of the smartphone brand in Indonesia. There is no information on the launching date of the device for the market of India.
