The very popular flagship smartphone maker OnePlus is reportedly working on its first ever folding Smartphone and the device is making noise for the past few months. Rumours are suggesting that the company will be launching the device by the end of next month and the rumour is strengthened with the latest leak as today we got a piece of information about the launching date of the device. It is reported that the company will be launching its first ever folding smartphone dubbed the OnePlus Open in the market on August 29. It is worth mentioning that there is no official confirmation on the launching date of the device and we advise you to take it with a pinch of salt.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming OnePlus Open folding smartphone is expected to feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate while the inner display will be sporting a large 7.8-inch AMOLED screen along with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming OnePlus Open is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor. On the front, the main display of the device is tipped to feature a 32MP camera while the interior screen is expected to feature a 20MP camera sensor.
Is it expected that the OnePlus Open will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor coupled with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. The OnePlus Open is expected to house a 4,800mAh battery along with 67W fast charging and the device will be running on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1 out of the box.
