iQOO Z8 & Z8x Goes Official In China

iQOO has officially introduced the latest iQOO Z8 and the Z8x smartphones in its home country and the devices feature an identical design but the devices offer different specifications. iQOO Z8 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor at its heart whereas the Z8x is equipped with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 mobile processor. Here are the full specifications and the pricing as well as availability details of the smartphones.

Specifications of iQOO Z8 series

The latest iQOO Z8 series features a 6.64-inch display with a punch-hole setup at the centre position of the screen along with an FHD+ resolution and the device features a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone series features a curved display as well.

Coming to the photography section, the iQOO Z8 features a 64MP OIS-enabled main sensor along with a 2MP depth sensor on the back while the Z8x features a 50MP main lens and a 2MP bokeh sensor. The devices come with 16MP and 8MP front facing cameras respectively.

Under the hood, the iQOO Z8 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor while the Z8x features a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The smartphone series offers up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage along with a VC cooling chamber for heat dissipation.

The Z8 houses a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W fast charging whereas the Z8x houses a 6,000mAh battery along with 44W charging. The smartphone series is running on Android 13 with OriginOS 3 out of the box.

It is also supporting 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB-C port among others for connectivity. The devices feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security.

Pricing and availability

The pricing of the iQOO Z8 starts at CNY 1,699 while the Z8x is having a starting price of CNY 1,299, and the devices will be available in the market of China from September 7. There is no information about the availability of the devices in the market of India.
