OnePlus has introduced its first ever phone of 2024 in the name of OnePlus Ace 3 and the device is official in the market of China. The same device will be official globally as OnePlus 12R on January 23. Let’s dive into the article to check out the full details of the new phone.

Specifications of OnePlus Ace 3

The newly announced OnePlus Ace 3 sports a 6.7-inch BOE-supplied OLED ProXDR display along with a punch-hole cutout at the centre position of the screen and the device features a 1.5K resolution. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate along with 10-bit colors and a peak brightness of 4,500 nits. The display of the device is integrated with a fingerprint scanner as well.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with up to 16 GB of RAM on the board and 1TB of storage. The device is the first first phone with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor to ship with a large 5,500mAh battery along with 100W wired charging. It runs on the latest Android 14 with ColorOS 14 out of the box.

The latest phone also features dual SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC for connectivity. The device also supports dual stereo speakers, an x-axis liner motor, and the signature alert slider button on the board.

Talking about the photography section, the latest OnePlus Ace 3 comes with a 16-megapixel front facing camera while the back panel of the device features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera with OIS support along with a 2-megapixel macro camera and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

Pricing and availability

The pricing of the device starts at ¥2,599 and it will be available in the market of China from January 8.
