The popular Chinese smartphone brand iQOO has officially introduced its latest and greatest iQOO 12 series in the market of China and that includes the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro. The devices come with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor and heavy camera setup. The smartphone series runs on Android 14 out of the box. So let’s check out the full details of the new flagship offering of the company.

Specifications of iQOO 12 series

The newly announced iQOO 12 features a 6.74-inch flat screen along with a 1.5K resolution while the Pro model sports a 6.7-inch 2K display with curved edges. Both devices come with an AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and HDR10 support. The display of the smartphone series is integrated with an in-display fingerprint scanner and the vanilla variant comes with an IP64 rating whereas the iQOO 12 Pro comes with an IP68 certification.

Speaking about the camera department, the iQOO 12 series features a triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a primary camera with 50MP OIS-enabled 1/1.3 sensor followed by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto periscope unit with 3x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom as well as OIS support. The smartphone series also features a 16MP front facing camera.

Under the hood, the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro smartphones are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with a dedicated e-sports Q1 chipset that will be offering a good gaming experience the devices come with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone series also features a large VC vapor chamber and a four-zone cooling system for heat dissipation.

The latest iQOO 12 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging and the Pro model houses a 5,100mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone series runs on the Android 14 operating system with OriginOS 4 on top.

The iQOO 12 series also comes with an X-axis linear motor and dual stereo speakers. The smartphone series also supports USB-C port, Wi-Fi-7, NFC, IR Blaster, and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity.

The pricing of the vanilla variant starts at CNY 3,999 and the pricing of the Pro variant starts at CNY 4,999. The devices are available in the market of China.
