Along with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 folding smartphones, the South Korean electronics giant Samsung has officially announced the new flagship tablet series called the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series. The tablet series including 3 devices namely the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 along with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. The tablet series is coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is coming with a dual front facing camera setup as well. The devices are running on the Android 13 operating system out of the box. Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus

The newly announced Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus tablets are offering a dynamic AMOLED 2X display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is having an 11-inch WQXGA resolution while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus features a 12.4-inch WQXGA+ panel. The tablets are also coming with a 120Hz refresh rate and the devices are coming with an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner. The tablets are supporting S-Pen and the devices are also having an IP68 dust and water-resistant rating as well.

Coming to the camera department, the latest Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 sports a single 13MP camera on the back panel while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus features 13MP and 8MP camera sensors on the back. Both tablets are coming with a 12MP front-facing camera. Both devices feature quad speakers tuned by AKG and Dolby Atmos.

The devices are having the power of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor along with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage on the board. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is housing an 8,000mAh battery while the Plus model is housing a massive 10,090mAh battery.

While the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra features a large 14.6-inch dynamic AMOLED display along with a notch on the left bezel and it is coming with a WQXGA+ resolution and the same features a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is also coming with an optical fingerprint scanner and the tablet is also coming with the support of the S-Pen that can be magnetically attached to the side frame and it can be charged on the vertical strip of the back panel. The device is also offering an IP68 dust and water-resistant rating as well.

The latest Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra tablet features a 13MP main sensor on the back along with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It is also coming with a 12MP primary camera on the front along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor along with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of internal storage that can be expandable via a microSD card. It is housing a massive 11,200mAh battery along with 45W fast charging and it is also running on Android 13 with OneUI 5.1 out of the box.

Regarding the pricing and availability, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 is having a starting price of $799 / EUR 799 whereas the Tab S9+ carries a starting price tag of $1,149 / EUR 999 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra starts at $1,199/ £1,199 for the 12GB + 256GB WiFi variant while the 12GB + 512GB WiFi model is priced at £1,299 and the 1TB WiFi variant is having a price tag of £1,549. The 5G models of the device storage options are coming with a price tag of £1,349, £1,449, and £1,1699 respectively. The devices will be available from August 11.
