The display is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device runs on the Android 14 operating system with One UI 6.1 out of the box.

Samsung has introduced the Samsung Galaxy M55 5G with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 mobile processor along with up to 12GB of RAM on the board and 256 GB of internal storage. The storage can be expandable using a micro SD card.
