The highly anticipated iPhone 15 Series is now official and the company has launched 4 models including the the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The devices are coming with the dynamic island feature along with a USB Type-C port which is replacing Lightning port. Here are the full details of the latest iPhone 15 Series.

Specifications of iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus

The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus feature the same boxy form factor along with the Dynamic Island which was introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro models last year. Both devices offer 6.1 and 6.7-inch Retina XDR OLED displays respectively with 2,000 nits peak brightness.

Coming to the camera department, the devices feature a 48MP Sony sensor on the back along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an additional 2x telephoto option. Both devices feature a 12MP front facing camera. It can switch automatically to portrait mode when the subject is detected.

The latest iPhone 15 and 15 Plus are powered by the Apple A16 Bionic processor along with 6GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. There is no information about the battery capacity of the devices at the moment. The devices are running on the iOS 17 operating system. The devices feature a USB-C port along with a second-generation Ultrawide-band chip that improves Find My capabilities and the devices feature Emergency SOS via satellite feature also gets Roadside Assistance functionality.

Specifications of iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

The iPhone 15 Pro models come with titanium alloy along with a solid-state Action button, which replaces the traditional mute switch. The newly added button can be programmed for various purposes and it will also work as a mute switch.

The devices feature 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED displays respectively along with more efficient LTPO controllers. The devices feature thinner bezels and the devices feature an adaptive refresh rate (ProMotion-enabled) as well as Always-on display.

The latest iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max devices come with the power of the A17 Bionic chip and the chipset is based on a 3nm process. The iPhone 15 Pro series comes with 8GB of RAM with up to 1TB of internal storage. The devices feature 48MP IMX803 main camera with improved low light performance. The telephoto lens on the Pro Max offers 5x optical zoom at 120mm focal length. The devices also support a USB-C port and the same features up to 10Gbps data transfer with the optional USB3 cable. Everything remains the same as the vanilla variants.

Pricing and availability

The pricing of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus start at $799 and $899 respectively and the devices will be available from September 22. On the other hand, The iPhone 15 Pro will start at $999, while the iPhone 15 Pro Max will start at $1,199.
