The Chinese smartphone brand Honor has launched the new Honor V Purse folding phone in the market of China and the device was originally showcased during the IFA 2023 event in Berlin. The device looks like a purse and you can customize it based on your dress. Here are the full details of the device.

Specifications of Honor V Purse

The latest Honor V Purse is an outward folding phone and the device features a wraparound display on its back panel. It features a 6.45-inch primary display along with 2348×1088 pixels resolution and in the unfolded condition, the device offers a 7.7 inch display with 2348×2016 pixels resolution. Both screens feature a flexible OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits peak brightness. The device also features an Always-on display with various interactive and interchangeable wallpapers.

Coming to the photography department, the newly announced Honor V Purse features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 50MP main sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens. It also comes with an 8MP front-facing camera as well.

Under the hood, the Honor V Purse is powered by the Snapdragon 778G mobile processor paired with 16GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. The folding device houses a 4,500mAh battery along with 35W fast charging and it is running on MagicOS 7.1 based on the Android 13 operating system.

The device features dual stereo speakers along with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for an additional layer of security. It also comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C for connectivity.

Pricing and availability

The latest Honor V Purse starts at CNY 5,999 for the 16GB + 256GB variant whereas the 16GB + 512GB storage option costs CNY 6,599. It will be available in the market of China from September 26.
