The popular Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has officially introduced the first ever flagship offering of 2024 in India by launching the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro. The devices were originally announced in China a few months ago. The latest Vivo flagship phones also feature Zeiss T* coating on the rear camera lenses and they come with the power of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 mobile processor. The devices are running on the latest Android 14 operating system out of the box and they also feature a fast charging solution. Here are the full details of the new Vivo phones in the country.

Specifications of Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro

The latest Vivo X100 series features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with curved edges along with a 1.5K resolution, an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The display on the devices is also integrated with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and the devices feature an IP68 rating as well.

Talking about the photography section, the latest Vivo X100 and X100 Pro feature a triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 50MP OIS-enabled main sensor along with a 50MP ultra-wide-angle unit, and a 64MP (50MP on Pro) telephoto lens with 3x optical and 100x digtial zoom. The super telephoto camera uses the ZEISS-certified Vario -APO-Sonar lens. Both of them feature a 32MP front facing camera and the company offers its proprietary V3 imaging chip for enhanced photography capabilities and recording 4K videos.

Vivo X100 series

The new Vivo X100 and X100 Pro are powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9300 mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB UFS 4 storage. The vanilla variant comes with a 5,000 battery and the Pro variant houses a large 5,400mAh battery with support for 120W and 100W wired charging respectively. The latest Vivo X100 Pro also supports 50W wireless charging capability. The devices are running on Android 14 with OriginOS 4 out of the box. Regarding the connectivity options, the devices feature USB-C Gen 3.2 port, WiFi-7, 5G, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.3.

Pricing and availability

The new Vivo X100 smartphone comes with 12GB + 256GB storage variant for a price tag of ₹63,999 and 16GB + 512GB storage option comes with a price tag of ₹69,999. While the Vivo X100 Pro with 16GB + 512GB storage option has a price tag of ₹89,999. The devices will be available from January 11 through the official website of Vivo and Flipkart as well as offline stores in India.
