The Chinese electronics giant Xiaomi has ended the suspense by launching the highly awaited Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship smartphone in China. The device will be official globally on February 25 and it comes with a 50 megapixel quad camera setup along with multiple camera features to offer a professional touch. The device comes with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor and the device supports satellite communication. Here are the full details of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone.

Specifications of Xiaomi 14 Ultra

The latest Xiaomi 14 Ultra sports a 6.73-inch 2K OLED TCL C8 LTPO display with 3200 x 1440 pixels resolution along with a peak brightness of 3000 nits and the device also comes with a pixel density of 522 PPI. It supports a wide color gamut (P3) and the device features HDR formats like Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid. The device also supports 1Hz to 120Hz variable refresh rate and it comes with 12-bit color depth technology. The device also features the instant touch sampling and professional color calibration. It is also certified by TÜV Rheinland for eye protection and the display of the device features a triple certification for reliability.

Speaking about the build, the latest Xiaomi 14 Ultra features a classic three-stage design with a fully enclosed metal mid-frame. It also comes with the “Xiaomi Dragon Armor Architecture,” and the same features a high-strength aluminum alloy frame as well as Dragon Crystal Glass.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with up to 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal storage. It also comes with a 3x liquid cooling chamber for better thermal management. The device runs on the latest Android 14 operating system with HyperOS out of the box.

Talking about the photography department, the latest Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone comes with a quad-camera system that includes a Sony LYT-900 1-inch 50MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.63-f/4.0 infinitely variable aperture, featuring ADL ultra-low reflection coating. The device also features a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture and ADL ultra-low reflection coating. It also features a 50MP portrait telephoto camera with OIS, an f/1.8 aperture, and 3.2X magnification, as well as a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with OIS, an f/2.5 aperture, and 5X magnification. The device comes with a 32MP front-facing camera as well.

Xiaomi brings the first AI large model computational photography platform on the board and the same offers features including ULTRA SNAP for quick captures, ULTRA RAW for high-quality raw images, and ULTRA ZOOM for advanced zoom capabilities. The camera department of the device can offer 30X AI super zoom, 4K video recording at 120fps (main camera), and full-focus 8K video capture across all focal lengths. It also features high-frame-rate slow-motion recording and comes with a professional photography suite like Leica’s full experience and customization options. The device supports Leica’s signature styles and native dual-lens beauty.

The latest Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes with Xiaomi’s dual satellite communication and the the device supports real-time voice and two-way texting. It also features Xiaomi’s own signal enhancement chip, the Surge T1. The device houses a 5300mAh battery along with 90W turbo wired fast charging and 50W turbo wireless fast charging.

Pricing and availability

The starting price of the device is set at 6499 Yuan and the device will be available in China from February 27 while the special Titanium version has a price tag of 8799 Yuan for the 16GB + 1TB. The special edition will be available from March 12.
