Xiaomi has hosted a massive event in China where the company introduced multiple devices including its latest folding smartphone dubbed the Xiaomi Mix Fold 3. The device is coming with a quad camera setup on the backer and the same is Leica-tuned. It is also featuring a periscope sensor and the device is running on the Android 13 operating system out of the box. Specifications of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3

Xiaomi has announced the latest Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 folding smartphone with just 5.26mm thin when unfolded and 10.96m when folded and the device is also having a new waterdrop hinge which is said to be more durable. Talking about the specifications, the device features an 8.03-inch primary display along with a 2K resolution with UTG protection while the outer display sports a 6.56 inch size along with a 21:9 aspect ratio and the device features FHD+ resolution. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus as well. The company is offering the display setup of the device with E6 material and the display features a 120Hz refresh rate along with Dolby Vision. The device can offer a maximum peak brightness of 2600 nits and it is also featuring dual stereo speakers as well.

The latest Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is powered by the overclocked version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. It is housing a 4,800mAh battery with 67W wired charging and 50W wireless charging and the device is running on Android 13 with MIUI 14 out of the box.

Coming to the photography section, the latest Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 features a Leica-tuned quad-camera system. The device features two 20MP front-facing cameras. While the back panel of the device is coming with a 50MP Sony IMX800 primary sensor along with a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 10MP 3.2x telephoto lens, and a 10MP 5x periscope camera. It is worth mentioning that the camera department of the device features OIS as well. It is also coming with the support of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Pricing and availability

It is having 12GB + 256GB variant and the same is having a price tag of ¥8,999 while the 16GB + 512GB storage option is having a price tag of ¥9,999 and the 16GB + 1TB variant is having a price tag of ¥10,999. The device will be available in the market of China from August 16.
