The latest Huawei Pocket 2 sports a horizontal hinge along with dual circular modules for the rear cameras and the device also comes with a cover display. The device also features a new hinge built with aerospace grade “rocket steel” materials and 2nd gen Kulun glass technology. The device also features an IPX8 water resistance rating.
It comes with a 6.94-inch LTPO OLED primary display along with 2690 x 1136 pixels resolution, 2200 nits of peak brightness and 420 PPI pixel density. The device features 1 to 120Hz variable refresh rate, 1440Hz PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and a 21:9 aspect ratio. While the secondary display of the device features a 1.15-inch OLED screen along with a 296 PPI pixel density and 360 x 360 pixels resolution.
The device comes with the power of the Kirin 9000S mobile processor along with up to 12 GB of RAM on the board and 1TB of storage options. The device houses a 4,520 mAh battery with 66W wired charging and 40W wireless charging support as well as 7.5W wireless reverse charging. The device runs on HarmonyOS 4.0 out of the box.
Talking about the photography section, the Huawei Pocket 2 features an XMAGE quad camera setup including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, an 8-megapixel telephoto shooter with OIS and 3x optical zoom, and an AI-powered 2-megapixel hyperspectral camera. The device also features a 10.7-megapixel front facing camera.
It also comes with dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type C, and NFC support for connectivity. The device also features two way satellite communication and a UV Sunscreen test mode.

The device has a starting price of 7,499 Yuan and the first sale of the device will be on March 1 in China.
